We are taking on the challenge to make a difference in our community by participating in the Arthritis Walk as part of "Let's Move Together," the Arthritis Foundation's nationwide movement that encourages people to move to prevent or treat arthritis.

Why are we involved? Our Daughter, Madison was diagnosed with Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis 4 years ago. With nemerous hospital stays, pokes, pricks and medication she is finally on track with a "typical" 4 year old. We have found medications that work wonderfully together so she can be active like others of her age. She enjoys dancing and swimming now more than ever since she no longer has constant joint pain.

Right now 1 in 5 people suffer from the pain of arthritis. By the year 2030, 67 million people in the U.S., or 1 in 4 adults, will be living with arthritis.*
